Thiruvananthapuram Mayor Arya Rajendran and Balussery MLA K.M. Sachin Dev are getting married. Sachin’s father KM Nandakumar said that although the wedding date has not been announced, the two families have reached an agreement. The marriage will take place a month later. The couple’s acquaintance has been around since the time they worked in ‘Balasangham’. The two were friends during the time they worked in the ‘Balasangham’ and SFI.
When Sachin Dev was the SFI state secretary, he contested and won the recent assembly elections from Balussery. Sachin Dev is a native of Nellikode, Kozhikode. He is currently the All IndiaJoint Secretary of SFI. Sachin Dev holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Government Arts College, Kozhikode, and a Law Degree from Kozhikode Law College. At the age of 21, Arya Rajendran became the Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram.
While a student at All Saints College, Thiruvananthapuram, Arya became the youngest mayor in the country. Arya is the state president of the ‘Balasangham’ and a member of the SFI state committee. The youngest MLA in the legislature and the youngest mayor in the country are getting married.
