The Malayalees give a full applause to Mammootty for choosing such a topic and the subject of the film. Now Odian director VA Sreekumar has come to praise the film.

There was an intense silence throughout the theater until it ended with a standing ovation. That applause was the pinnacle of recognition.

When I said to Thangan, ‘Don’t drive the car with the child’, I was afraid that there would be another comment, another news in the theatre. No, nothing like that happened. Then the pain that Thangan felt was what made the theater famous.

When I was driving back, I thought about that applause. Whose applause is that?
At its core is a slippery-slope theme. Frankly speaking, it is something that has been put out of bounds by the dominant society. Like Matthew, the whole community is afraid of that truth. It is a discovery that the society that does not have the ability to speak freely and clap in a group in the theater.

If Mammooka cries on screen, the whole theater will cry. When Mathew’s conversation with Chachanam extended into Omana and turned into a song, who could have been in the theater who didn’t cry. I cried. After that crying, that applause was the clarity of clear minds.

For Jio Baby. For writing. For immersive visuals. For sudhiOmana- everyone had applause.

I clapped along with everything else to dear Mammooka. This bravery is possible for you, the name of which was on the board that finally appeared on the screen – HISTORIC VICTORY. Mathew is the biggest success in Mammootty’s glorious history. Applause again for that Mathew.

Kathal indicates the changed Kerala. The silence in the theater and the non-stop applause at the end is for a changed Kerala. We as a society embrace the great value of inclusion.

Yes, what we clapped for is ours. Thanks Mammooka,For leading and making the core possible.
