Maruti Suzuki has announced the Q4 results of the financial year 2017 – 2018. The company has markedly grown over 10 percent in a year – on – year scale mark, with sales figure up by 11.4 percent. While announcing the profit report, Maruti officials maintained that they would be opening up 300 new showrooms by April, 2019. The new showrooms include those of the premium outlet ‘Arena’ and other smaller commercial outlets.
According to the reports, Maruti Suzuki would be investing INR 980 Cr in FY 2018 – 2019. This amount would be used to buy parcels of land across the country. This is significantly higher than the amount, which the company had shelled out in FY 2017 – 2018. During then, the company had bought a total of 67 parcels of land, by investing INR 790 Cr.
