The ambulance carrying the 15 days old infant from Mangaluru, has reached Amrita hospital, Ernakulam. The state govt. has informed the parents of the kid that the govt. would take up all the treatment expenses of the baby. Earlier, the ambulance carrying the baby of Kasargode natives – Sania and Mithah, travelled all the 420 kilometers between Mangaluru and Ernakulam, within a matter of 5:30 hours.
Started the journey from Mangaluru at 11 am towards Sree Chithira hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, the state govt. intervened to alter the plan, in order to safeguard the child. Health Minister, in doing so, has ensured about carrying the expenses of the treatment. The Kerala Child Protection Team had relentlessly informed the public about the transportation of the baby, through social media pages, in order to avoid any delays in transportation.
