As the world is reeling under Covid, here comes some great initiatives from ‘Mammootty Fans and Welfare Association International’. The Australian unit of the star’s fan association has chartered a flight from Perth, Australia to Kochi. The initiative is part of a joint venture between ‘Silk Airlines’ and Australia-based ‘Fly World International’. The initiative was taken as many people were trying to return home from Perth, which is home to several Malayalees. However, they were unable to be back to Kerala, as there was no air service. Though the city is out from the clutches of Covid, it continues to be under strict control.

The Malayalee Association of Perth (MAP) is also joining them in this effort.  Although Malayalee voluntary organizations in different parts of the world are chartering aircraft, this is the first time that a Fan’s Association of an actor is implementing such a scheme. The flight is charted to take off from Perth on July 25th. Leaving Perth at 2 pm, the flight would reach Kochi at 10 pm.  Tickets can be booked by calling +61410366089. Organizers are planning to roll out similar service in more Australian cities.
