Mahindra and Mahindra is gearing up for widening its portfolio soon before which the FY 2018 – 2018 ends. Though it seems highly improbable that the company would be launching two models in successive time span, industry insiders however suggest that at least one would get launched before the proposed time. Powered by a new 1.6 liter diesel engine, the Mahindra U321 will be launched in India by the first quarter of 2018. The major rivals, which Mahindra U321 MPV challenging, would be Toyota Innova Crysta and Tata Hexas.
Meanwhile, the Mahindra S201 Compact SUV might get launched only by the end of 2018, or it could even go as far as the year 2019. It should give a tight competition for the likes of Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster and Honda BR-V.
