Earlier, we saw Apple apologizing for the ‘root’ bug issue, which was noticed at the MacOS High Sierra. The ‘root’ bug issue enables anyone to login to the computer using the username ‘root’ without entering the password. The issue, which came under severe criticism from the Acommunity, prompted Apple to come up with a fix for that problem. That said, the Apple fix for the security issue, is said to have worsened the ‘root’ issue.
According to the reports, users, who had not upgraded the OS from High Sierra 10.13.0 to that of the 10.13.1, but still had downloaded the patch, noticed the presence of ‘root’ bug. Further reporting, Apple users commented that the issue persisted until they reboot the system. With Apple giving no such an instruction of rebooting, user community is furious over the unsolved ‘root’ bug issue.
