Lockdown in Kerala has been extended to June 9

Lockdown extended in the state. It was extended to June nine. The lockdown, which was announced until May 30, ended tomorrow. It was against this background that it was extended for another ten days.

However, more concessions are likely to be granted in the state. The decision on the exemptions will be announced after the Covid review meeting. Permission will be granted to open gold shops, textile shops, shoe shops and shops selling essential items for school children. Permission will be granted once or twice a week.

Permits will also be issued to industrial establishments. The decision has now been made to run industrial enterprises with fifty per cent employees. Institutions supplying the raw materials required for these industrial establishments can also operate. Shops selling spare parts will also be allowed to operate. It has also decided to allow toddy shops to operate in part.
