- NEW DELHI: The Government of India has unveiled a new direction to the government to grant concession on Covid regulations. The discounts will come into effect from April 20th. The order, however, states that the states can decide on areas of concession that have been identified as Covid hotspots.
Permission was granted to open hotels and homestays in places where tourists live. Post offices can also be opened. It can also work for IT firms (only 50% of employees). Markets can also be opened. Freight transport is permitted even though the public transport system does not work.
The employment guarantee scheme can be implemented by bridging the social gap. Courier services across the country will start operating from April 20.
