The film ‘Ottu’ starring Kunchacko Boban and Arvind Swamy in lead roles has postponed the release date. The Fellini TP directorial was gearing for its theatrical release on September 2nd this year.
However, the makers announced that the release date of the movie has been pushed to a different date that will be announced later.
Director Fellini TP took to his official Instagram handle to announce the news that his sophomore directorial venture ‘Ottu’s release date has been postponed.
The director’s post read, “We are extremely sorry to inform you that the worldwide release date of ‘Ottu’ has been postponed from September 2. We had to take this decision due to some unforeseen circumstances regarding our Tamil release.”
He added, “Meanwhile Malayalam censor is done and we have been certified U/A. Since it is a bilingual movie, we have to release this movie on the same date.”
Fellini TP went emotional as he penned the last line that read, “This has been a long journey and we as a team, had given our blood and sweat to this project. It is made on a big scale, keeping the audience across India in mind, and hence, we are leaving no stone unturned for its release. We hope to entertain you guys soon on the same day, worldwide. Need your support and blessings. Stay tuned for the announcement of our new release date.”
The film comes with the tagline ‘Two friends and their bond’ and the lead roles will be played by the actors Kunchacko Boban and Arvind Swamy. Actress Eesha Rebba will be playing the female lead in this thriller.
