KUHS Hiked Examination Fees: As per the resolution of the 39th meeting of Governing Council, the 17th meeting of Academic Council of KUHS vide its agenda No. 17.16 has considered the matter of revision of examination related fee recommended by the 29th meeting of Finance Committee.
The Academic Council has accepted the recommendations of the Finance committee for a hike in the existing rate of examination related fee by 10% of the existing fee and the same has been approved by the 42nd meeting of Governing Council.. The decision of the AC approved by GC was implemented.
However, the matter of examination fee hike was brought to the notice of the second meeting of the Senate of KUHS held on 29.11.2017 by an urgent motion moved by Sri. Sanjay Murali, member of Senate and the house resolved to approve the motion and decided to place the common opinion of the of the House – (that the status quo ante in respect of
Examination-related fee may be maintained for next two years) – before the Governing Council.
The matter has been brought to the notice of the 43rd meeting of the Governing Council held on 29.12.2017 vide its agenda number 43.04 and the Governing Council have decided to modify the earlier decision of 42nd Governing Council approving the Academic Council recommendation of enhancement of the examination fee by 10% to the effect that the enhancement in examination and related fee is limited to 5%. The fee shall be rounded off to the next higher multiple of 5. The revised fee would be applicable for examination notifications issued on or after 01.01.2018. Vide reference (5) cited above, the Honourable Vice Chancellor has accorded sanction to implement the action of the Governing Council. Orders are issued accordingly.
