MUMBAI: Mayank Agarwal, who scored a century on the first day of the second cricket Test against South Africa, said the Indian skipper Virat Kohli wrote on his second day’s double century. With Kohli’s double century, the Indian batsmen have posed a tough challenge to South Africa in the second Test. India now stand at 514 for four. Kohli hit a double ton in ODIs. Kohli now holds the record for the seventh double century in Test cricket. Kohli’s bat was born in the innings of twenty-eight. His 194-ball hundred was the highest ever. Kohli, who has been the fastest batsman since his century, has scored 100 runs in just 103 balls.
India were bowled out for a superb innings by Mayank Agarwal (108) and Cheteshwar Pujara (58), Rahane (59) and half-century in the Test series. Ravindra Jadeja is back in the crease with the support of skipper Kohli, who is in the fickle fifth wicket partnership.
