Great Indian Kitchen Best Picture, Jayasurya, and Anna Benn Best Actor, State Film Awards
Kerala State Film Awards announced Great Indian Kitchen is the best movie of last year. Jayasurya is the best actor. She won the award for her performance in Vellam. Siddharth Siva is the best director. Ayyappan and Koshy were selected as the most popular films with artistic value. The film is directed by Sachi. Sachi himself wrote the script for the film.

It was decided on Monday that it would be selected as the second-best film. Mohammad Mustafa won the Best Debut Director award for his film Kappela. PK Surendran, the author of Pirian Gowanikal, won the award for Best Film Writing. Adoor’s 5 Leading Characters won John Samuel the Best Essay Award.

Love, meanwhile, won the award for Best Special Effect. Shobi Thilakan was adjudged the best male dubbing artist. Riya Saira was named the best dubbing artist in the women’s category. Ramesh Ahmed became the best make-up man with the movie Article 21. Mahesh Narayanan became the best cinematographer in the movie See You Soon.

Suhasini, the chairperson of the jury, said that the film ‘Great Indian Kitchen’ was selected as the best film by the jury. Suhasini says that there was a strong fight for the Best Actress award and there were no good entries in the best screenplays. Malayalee cinema audiences are now coming on the scene with congratulations to all the award winners. The reaction of the Malayalees now is that they are all-knowing awards.
