Kerala Engineering Entrance (KEE 2018)

Kerala Engineering Entrance (KEE 2018): Kerala Self-Financing Engineering College Manangement’s Association (KSFECMA) published the notification for the Kerala Engineering Entrance examination with the approval of Admission Supervisory Committee for Professional Colleges in Kerala headed by Justice R Rajendra Babu and as per the directives of the Hon`ble Supreme Court of India. The KSFECMA is the association of 120 self financing engineering colleges in Kerala. Online submission of the application will start from 26.03.2018.

Aim of KEE 2018:

The Entrance Examination is named KEE 2018 and the qualifying students are eligible for taking admission to B.Tech program in the participating Colleges under the Management Quota and Lapsed seats.

Kerala Engineering Entrance (KEE 2018) Application Fee: Rs.250

  • KEE-2018 will be held at all districts headquarters of Kerala provided there are sufficient number of candidates.
  •  The Admission Supervisory Committee (ASC) will conduct and supervise KEE-2018 and publish the results and rank list.
  • KEE 2018 qualified students are eligible to avail Education Loan from Banks for B.Tech studies.
  • Participating Colleges are AICTE approved & affiliated to KTU, the list of which are available at www.ksfecma.com

Kerala Engineering Entrance (KEE 2018) Syllabus:

Scheme of Question papers and marks :

  • KEE-2018 will have two papers, Mathematics & the other paper of Physics and Chemistry consisting of 120 questions in each paper including 5 questions each in General Knowledge & English.
  • Each correct answer will carry 4 marks. One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. There shall be 4 responses with one most appropriate answer.
  • The duration of the examination will be 2 ½ hours each. Mathematics paper will be from 10 am to 12.30 pm and Physics and Chemistry paper from 2 pm to 4.30 pm on the same day.
  • The applicants, who secure a minimum of 10 marks in each paper, shall stand qualified for admission.

 

Kerala Engineering Entrance (KEE 2018) Eligibility:

  •  Eligibility for appearing in the Entrance Examination is limited to Indian Nationals. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible.
  • Academic Eligibility to take admission under Management Quota shall be a minimum of 45% marks aggregate for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / Computer science put together for those who passed plus two (higher secondary). Students awaiting results are also eligible to appear for KEE-2018, provided they produce documents to prove their Academic Eligibility while taking admission.
