Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s office in South Block, New Delhi.
Both of them discussed the preparations to be made in case of rising threat of Covid. Preparations being made by Kerala to fight against Covid-19 were also mentioned.
Activities will be strengthened to speed up the completion of various central and state projects by strengthening the linkages between the Center and the States. The Chief Minister informed the Prime Minister about the interventions and activities being carried out by the state government for the development of national highways in Kerala.
Jal Jeevan Mission and speedy completion of various National Highway and other projects were also discussed. Both wished each other Happy New Year. The Chief Minister sent his greetings to the Prime Minister. Kathakali sculpture of Kerala was also given as a gift. Chief Secretary V.P. Joy also attended the meeting.
