Made on a huge budget, which reportedly amounts close to INR 45 Cr, all which the makers of ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’ wanted was to have a flying start for the project. Well, without wasting the hopes of them, the movie was off to a flying start and gone onto create a handful of records in due course. Marking INR 5.3 Cr on the opening day itself, this Roshan Andrrews directorial has cocked INR 25Cr on the first weekend itself. By the end of the first week, the worldwide collection of the movie stood at a record breaking INR 42 Cr.
Now, producers of the movie – Gokulam Movies – have come up with a news reports, stating that ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’ has entered the 50 Cr club. Movie, which banks on the striking performance of Nivin Pauly in the titular role, has managed to amass a worldwide gross of INR 55 Cr during the first 10 days of its release. Aided by fierce cameo appearance of Mohanlal, ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’ is sure to create more records in the coming days.
