Kerala Administrative Service (KAS) special rule seems to be creating quite a lot of confusion around the corner. The special rule states that PSC should have to consult Kerala govt. while deciding the examination scheme as well as syllabus. Since the existing rules mandate govt. to not interfere on matters, which come under the jurisdiction of PSC, the special provision given for KAS has thus created a contrasting situation.
Usually, PSC announces the detailed syllabus of examination only after issuing the official notification. The meeting held between the board members of PSC, has decided composing a letter to the govt. regarding the issue.
