Kannada superstar actor Puneet Rajkumar has passed away at the age of 46. He died at Vikram Hospital in Bangalore. Heart attack is reported to be the leading cause of death. Puneet was admitted to the hospital this morning. He was later shifted to the ICU due to ill health.
Earlier, several political and social activists, including Chief Minister Basu Raj Bomma, had visited him at the hospital. The death was later confirmed in the afternoon. He had been experiencing some discomfort since last night, but nothing was wrong later. Then I went to the gym in the morning. After returning, he felt unwell again and was later shifted to a hospital.
Puneet Rajkumar is a member of the famous Rajkumar family in Kannada. Following in the footsteps of his father Rajkumar, he came to the cinema in child roles. Winning the National and State Award for Best Actor, Puneeth was well received by the Kannada film world. Puneet has won several Filmfare Awards, including three State Awards for Best Actor.
