DYFI said KPCC president K Sudhakaran’s statement in support of the Governor’s move to insert RSS members into the senates of Kerala universities is evidence of Congress-BJP collusion.
Through this, the Congress in Kerala is giving away the RSS. Sudhakaran, who says that the Governor’s nominees will not be opposed just because they belong to the Sangh Parivar, is laying the carpet for the back door politics of the RSS.
Why do we criticize what a governor does? He is not opposing the nomination of pro-BJP candidates. What is wrong with that? There are also good people out there who won’t mind putting them on.
K. Sudhakaran is going forward by ignoring even the declared political position of the Congress at the national level as we will accept those who can from the Congress.
The KPCC president has also made public the unsound political alliance between the Congress and the RSS in Kerala, saying that he will not oppose the Governor’s decisions whatever.
The national leadership needs to clarify whether this is the official position of the Congress. It remains to be seen whether the Muslim League, its ally, is of the same opinion.
The DYFI state secretariat informed that the chancellor’s wish to make Kerala’s education sector posh with the support of the Congress will remain just a pipe dream and the secular Kerala will respond to Sudhakaran’s pro-Sangh Parivar stance which is a political disaster.
