As was informed by the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Kerala has marked yet another 100+ day with a total of 123 new positive cases. This happened to be the seventh consecutive day that Kerala is marking a daily Covid figure of 100+. On the other hand, the number of samples that turned negative stands at 53. With this, the state’s total Covid tally stands at 3,726, with 1,761 active cases, while 1,943 have recovered so far from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 84 are from overseas. 33 came from other states, while 6 got the disease through transmission. Today, Kerala has tested a total of 5,240 samples. Till date, Kerala has tested 1,56,401 samples, while that of tests conducted under sentinel survey a total of 41,944 samples were tested, out of 40,302 have turned negative. Results of 4,182 samples are yet to come. CM said that Kerala wants to reach 15k daily tests by July. A total of 344 were admitted to hospitals today. Kerala, right now, has a total of 113 hotspots.
