As was informed by the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Kerala has marked its new record daily figure with a total of 152 new positive cases. This happened to be the sixth consecutive day that Kerala is marking a daily Covid figure of 100+. On the other hand, the number of samples that turned negative stands at 81. With this, the state’s total Covid tally stands at 3,603, with 1,691 active cases, while 1,888 have recovered so far from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 98 are from overseas. 46 came from other states, while 8 got the disease through transmission, including a health worker.
Right now, the total number of people under observation in the state has touched 1,54,759, with 2282 are under institutional quarantine.

Today, Kerala has tested a total of 4,941 samples. Till date, Kerala has tested 1,48,827 samples, while that of tests conducted under sentinel survey a total of 40,537 samples were tested, out of 39,113 have turned negative. Results of 4,005 samples are yet to come. Today, a total of 288 people are admitted to hospitals. Kerala, right now, has a total of 111 hotspots.
