Kerala has marked its new record figure with a total of 138 new positive cases, whereas the negative figure stands at 88. With this, the state’s total Covid tally stands at 3,308, with 1,540 active cases, while 1,747 have recovered so far from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 87 are from overseas. 47 came from other states, while 4 got the disease through transmission, including a health worker from Idukki.
Right now, the total number of people under observation in the state has touched 1,47,351. 1,45,225 are under home quarantine, while 2,126 are under institutional quarantine. The number of new Covid cases in the state, with the district wise break up is as follows,
