The state is having its first normal (?) Sunday since the lockdown was introduced. As was mentioned by the CM couple of days ago, the Sunday will remain like a normal weekday, with regular controlling measures. It is because of the conductance of various examinations, which the state decided to ease the stringent lockdown measures usually adopted during Sundays.
However, the authorities asked people to remain vigilant as more number of cases is being reported through transmission; authorities remain clueless for most the cases. While strict surveillance has already been introduced to Kannur, state capital Thiruvananthapuram too is under the radars of authorities. All kinds of strikes and group gatherings have been banned before the secretariat. City police commissioner has also warned the public of strict actions, against those who breach the rules.
