Kerala has marked its new record figure with a total of 133 new positive cases, whereas the negative figure stands at 93. With this, the state’s total Covid tally has gone past 3,000 mark and stands at 3,170, with 1,490 active cases, while 1,659 have recovered so far from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 80 are from overseas. 43 came from other states, while 10 got the disease through transmission, including a health worker from Idukki.
Right now, the total number of people under observation in the state has touched 1,43,969. 1,41,919 are under home quarantine, while 2,050 are under institutional quarantine. The number of new Covid cases in the state, with the district wise break up is as follows,
