June 11: Oil prices hiked in India for a fifth consecutive day

Oil prices in India have been increased in the country for a fifth consecutive day. Accordingly, the price of petrol has been increased by 60 paisa per liter, while diesel prices have been hiked by 57 paisa per liter. With this, the petrol price in the country has managed to get increased by Rs. 2.75 in five days, while that of diesel got increased by Rs. 2.70 during the same period.

The increase in the crude oil prices internationally, is said to be the reason that causes an increase in the country’s oil prices. It was on 7th June, which the oil prices in the country got increased after a gap of more than 80 days, since a nationwide lockdown was announced.

Petrol: 74.41

Diesel: 68.69
