Kerala has registered a total of 702 new Covid positive cases. The number of samples that turned negative stands at 745. With this, the total number of covid cases in Kerala has reached 19,727, while the state’s total active cases have reached 9,610. A total of 10,054 people have recovered from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 75 are from overseas, while 95 came from other states.
The state has registered 483 cases through transmission in the past 24 hours. Out of those who caught the disease through transmission, the sources of 35 are yet to be traced down. Incidentally, the state has also recorded 2 more Covid death case, taking the tally to 63. Muhammed (67) from Kozhikode, and Ousep George (87) from Kottayam have succumbed to death.
