The film ‘Peace’, starring Joju George in the lead role will hit theatres in May, as per sources. However, the release date has not been announced yet. The film has received ‘U/A’ certificate from the Censor Board.
‘Peace’ is a social satire dramedy thriller, directed by debutant Sanfeer K. Joju George will be essaying the role of a delivery boy, Carlos. The film will have a simultaneous release also in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages.
‘Peace’ revolves around a string of events happening in Carlos’s life. According to the director, “The film tracks the chain of unprecedented events following an hyperlink narrative.”
Produced by Script Doctor Pictures, the film also features Asha Sharath, Siddhique, Remya Nambeesan, Aditi Ravi, Anil Nedumangad and Mamukkoya in major roles. It is to be noted that this is the last film of Anil Nedumangad, who had an untimely demise, after drowning while bathing near the Malankara Dam site. Actress Asha Sharath plays a self made entrepreneur, who runs a local restaurant and works as an Auto rickshaw driver in the film.
Singer Shahabaz Aman recorded a satirical song, written by Sanfeer and composed by Jubair Muhammed.
