Jayaram was the beloved hero of one of the finest family films in Malayalam and his films had minimum guarantees in the industry. Jayaram was the star of many movies and superheroes at a time. Like Sathyan Anthikkad, the directors who made hits with Jayaram are now getting young stars in their films.
Whereas,it has been a long time since Jayaram got a hit in the Malayalam industry. Jayaram’s films have been failing over the years. The failure of Jayaram films is due to the stories and screenplays in the same mould. The superstar of Malayalam is now giving a definitive answer as to why he came up with so many bad films. Jayaram’s words are:
It was a tough thing for me to say NO to someone. The first thing to learn in film is how to say no. The best lesson for the next generation is to learn it. It’s easy to say YES. But that’s not the case with saying NO.
You have to learn to look at someone’s face and tell them you can’t do it.
Once upon a time, it was very difficult for me. So I had to get committed in so many bad films. When a producer comes in and say that they are totally ruined and there is no other option than doing a movie , I felt really bad to see their tears. I would sign in their movie. They knew I’ll do it. Now I have learned to say NO .
