Meanwhile, the court sentenced both of them in the case of destruction of public property during SFI’s assembly march.
The action of the Thiruvananthapuram 1st Class Judicial Magistrate’s Court is in the case registered in the conflict that arose during the assembly march during the Oommen Chandy government.
The case is related to the March protests by the SFI against the education policies of the UDF government.
The punishment is in various sections, including destruction of public property and obstruction of official duties.
After the protest turned violent, the police broke the barricade and destroyed the vehicles. About 150 workers participated in the protest that day.
Meanwhile, both reached the court and got bail
