Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has got a five star rating of the jail in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, the jail also got the tag of ‘Eating Right Campus’ of FSSAI itself.
The five-star rating is based on the quality of the food prepared in the kitchen and the storage-hygiene systems that adhere to strict standards. Workers prepare food wearing clean aprons, full-arm gloves and hats.
Before this, Farrukhabad Jail in UP also got five star rating from FSSAI.
