Kozhikode: The Mahila Morcha activists have come up with an explanation after the incident of a young woman coming to Konnad Beach threatening to run away with a broom.
The Mahila Morcha activists said that the woman took the broom and threatened the youth and chased them away. It was not moral policing and she was only advising the children from the place of their mothers.
At the same time, the police have not registered a case as no complaint has been received in the incident. Mahila Morcha's moral policing took place at Konnad Beach in Kozhikode.
The young woman reached the beach and chased away the young men. The Mahila Morcha activists threatened to take a broom and beat her if she comes again.
More than 20 women came to the beach with brooms. All of them are BJP workers in the area.
The Mahila Morcha reached the beach and organized a protest alleging that the nuisance of anti-social elements has increased and local residents are unable to go to the beach.
The protesters alleged that anti-social harassment is increasing. It has been decided to come to the beach with a broom from 10 am tomorrow and give a warning to the young women.
BJP had earlier alleged that anti-social harassment is on the rise and the police is not doing anything against anti-socials.
Earlier, BJP had announced that the women of BJP will come into the field with brooms and deal with anti-socials to protect the country. Then a squad was formed for this purpose.
They came to the beach with moral policing. At the same time, the police had already received the information that such a strike would take place, so the police were on the spot.
