Sennheiser launched a dynamic microphone – XS 1, which essentially is wired. Launching the device, the company officials stated that XS 1 will be treated as an entry level mic, and it would fill the needs for presentation purposes. Speaking about the same, Sennheiser officials added that the device comes with a lockable mute switch, a stand mount and a leatherette pouch. The ‘silent mute switch’ enables users to be in full control over ‘sound transmission’.
German manufacturer, Sennheiser has designed the device to have a full bodied sound, though they have placed an emphasis on ‘treble’; coupled with it comes the ‘cardioid pickup patter’. These features enable the device to cut through high sound levels, which are seen in stage performances.
