It is indicated that the Congress will contest in 22 of the 48 seats in the state. Reports are out

The news that the Congress is preparing for the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra is becoming a big discussion. It is indicated that the Congress will contest in 22 of the 48 seats in the state. Congress sources confirm this. Yes, the Congress had decided to prepare for the Lok Sabha elections on the 138th foundation day held in Nagpur. We are ready was the slogan of the Congress election campaign. Meanwhile, the leaders discussed the current political situation in Maharashtra with Kharge.

Another, the leaders informed Kharge, were the strong constituencies of the Congress. In the meeting, some leaders have demanded that Congress contest up to 30 seats. It has also been suggested that so many candidates should be identified earlier. But a top leader from the state suggested that it is better to contest in maximum 22 seats. He informed the party that Congress has a chance of winning it.

Seat sharing talks with Sharat Pawar’s NCP and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena UBT came up in the meeting. At the same time, the leaders informed Kharge that both the parties are in doubt about their own symbol. NCP with Ajit Pawar’s rebellion threat and UDD with Eknath Shinde splitting the Shiv Sena are facing a symbol challenge. At present, only Congress can contest on the palm symbol. At the same time, the leaders have informed that some seats may be given to the allies depending on the probability of victory. But for the time being, Kharge has suggested that no mention should be made on seat division or alliance matters. The Congress High Command will soon meet the NCP and Uddhav Party leadership.
