Instagram is preparing to introduce a new feature, with an aim of alerting people over their Instagram Story. The security feature would notify people when someone takes the screenshot of their Story posts. The feature would mark the person who had taken the screenshot, with a star shaped icon. The icon would be appearing on the Story Views section; Instagram would also be giving a warning for the users, when they attempt taking the screenshot of others’ Story, for the first time.
Instagram is also testing a new ‘Regram’ feature, which would let users sharing public feed posts from other users’ to their Story. While the feature is undergoing a beta run phase, it is expected to be rolled out soon in the coming days.
