Al Husai Hotel in Pallimuk, Kochi was closed after storing stale food. The action comes after the Food Safety Department conducted extensive inspections at hotels in Kochi on Tuesday. Out of six hotels, notices have been issued to two hotels.
The inspection found things including stale meat. Months old food items have also been found stored in the fridge. Action is likely to be taken against more hotels during the inspection.
