Having arrived at the international arena July this year, Indian Scout Bobber is all set to make its Indian entry on November 24. It is been reported that 5 colour versions of the motorcycle – Indian Motorcycle Red, Thunder Black, Thunder Black Smoke (ABS), Star Silver Smoke, and Bronze Smoke – will be launched at the India Bike Week 2017. Scout Bobber, though carrying a hefty price tag of INR 16 lakh, is already open for booking for a down payment of INR 50,000.
Close sources with the US based premium motorcycle maker, Indian Motorcycle, informs that the Scout Bobber will be having a same engine as that of the Indian Scout. Powered by the 1,133cc liquid cooled, V – twin engine is capable of producing 100bhp and 97.7Nm of peak torque. The model comes with a six speed gearbox, while the classic front, bar end mirrors, all add to the masculinity quotient of this darker and butch version of the Indian Scout.
Measuring 2,229mm length, 1,154mm height and 926mm width, the Indian Scout Bobber has got a wheelbase of 1,562mm. Triumph Bonneville Bobber, Harley – Davidson Street Bob are the two major contenders, which are going to face stiff competition with the arrival of Indian Scout Bobber.
