Nearly after 7 months of its initial launch in the US, Facebook Messenger has decided to launch the ‘Discover’ tab before the Indian users. The new feature is aimed at discovering featured bots, nearby places, brands as well as the businesses, which users find exciting. Announcing the starting of its Indian operations, the company expressed optimism in helping the people of India in easing their browsing experience. The new feature can be rightly found at the lower right hand corner of the Messenger home screen.
What makes ‘Discover’ tab an interesting outing is that, it browses recently visited businesses, featured experience categories, and more importantly, providing regularly updating the data. It has come to be known that the new ‘Discover’ tab also works with parametric Messenger codes; that is, people are now open in scanning the codes through Messenger camera. Users can also link the codes with their favorite brands and businesses as well.
