Though an official statement is yet to have reached from Chinese government, it is been reported that Chinese force has met with a sizeable loss, during its faceoff against India last day. Going in line with the reports of U.S News, it is considered that around 35 Chinese soldiers have lost their lives. As was reported by the US Intelligence agencies, several Chinese soldiers were seriously injured as well.
That said, a clear report from the Indian side is yet to reach the media. Early estimates made by the army suggest that, India has lost 20 soldiers, while 4 have met with serious injuries. However, latest reports suggest that the more numbers might be added to the list. Anyhow, with Indian government giving sanction to the Chief of Defense Staff, Bipin Rawat for preparing all the three units of Indian army, the tension at the India – China border is escalating like never before.
