Ibis Medical Equipment and Systems come up with Disinfectant System for Rapid Disinfection

Kochi Ibis Medical Equipment and Systems Pvt. Ltd. come up with Ultraviolet (UV-C) Disinfectant System for Rapid Disinfection of Infected Areas. This device is capable of rapidly disinfecting areas with high levels of germs during the Kovid outbreak. Razkov UVC disinfectant system is powered by ultraviolet germicidal radiation (UVGI).

It has the ability to neutralize the DNA and RNA of viruses and bacteria in controlled environments such as hotels, hospitals, airport lounges, offices and commercial spaces. These devices can also destroy serious pathogens that cause infections from hospitals such as MRSA and C-DIF.

The manufacturers claim that this feature has proven to be effective in counteracting the ill effects of SARS-Cov series viruses that can stick to surfaces or in the air. Sujith S, Managing Director and CEO, Ibis Medical Equipment and Systems Pvt.

The system is controlled by a self-developed Android application that can store information such as disinfection intervals, time required, and alarm data. The height of the device can be adjusted up to 8 feet to ensure maximum maximum efficiency.

This allows disinfection of all angles, including floor to ceiling and shady areas. The device is designed to automatically shut down if someone accidentally enters the disinfection zone during operation. It is also equipped with a 360 degree motion sensor.

The average disinfection time for a room with an average size of 200 square feet is five to 15 minutes. The effectiveness of Raceco can be tested with the UV-C DOS Indicator card provided with the device. An independent study by Cribs Bionest, a unit of the Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology, found that ultraviolet light disinfectants kill up to 99.9 percent of viruses and bacteria.
