Swasika is a well-known star to Malayalees. She is active in social media. One of the best performances of T is the movie Chaturam. Although the movie got an A certificate, Chaturam is a movie that people came to the theaters knowing that it was an erotic film. Now, in the latest interview, Swasika has shared the difficulties when she donned a glamorous outfit to act as Selena. Swasika says that she has not even worn sleeveless dresses and has worn glamorous outfits for Selena. ‘In the square my cheeks were rosy like I had put on blush. It wasn’t makeup. I was doing a treatment to get rid of pimples on my face while shooting square. The after effect was a rosy color on the cheeks.’
Director Siddharth also said that the character needed it when he saw it. It was also recommended not to forget the foundation. Therefore, no touchup was done on the cheeks. And only that in some scenes they gave it a small grading during editing. I had never worn glamorous outfits or done such photo shoots before doing Chawart. I didn’t even wear sleeveless.” So when I came to the set dressed as Selena, I covered myself with a towel. The towel is changed only when the shot is said to be ready. When finished, immediately pick it up and go around again. And the crew on the set understood my difficulty and were very supportive.’
At the same time, no one has said or commented negatively. I have heard many stars say that they have had such an experience. But I have never had such an experience with a square set. After the release of Chaturam OTT, opportunities are coming from foreign language films. After Chathur, I did films in Telugu and Tamil. ‘Such opportunities came to me only because of Chathur,’ says Swasika.
