Indian cricketer Mohammad Shami is undergoing surgery in London for an ankle injury sustained during the World Cup.
Shami underwent surgery and missed the Test and T20 series against South Africa, the T20 series against Afghanistan and the Test series against England.
Shamik will not be able to play for Gujarat Titans in the IPL starting next month. Shami is also in doubt to play for India in the T20 World Cup in June.
