Reportedly, Huawei is working on developing an own operating system. As was reported by South China Morning Post, it is known that the company would be using the new mobile operating system. It is also believed that the OS would be compatible for both tablets and PCs as well. It is after the American investigation faced by ZTE, which Huawei has decided developing an indigenous OS. Industry insiders inform that, soon after developing the OS into a fully fledged one, it would be ditching out Android.
However, if Huawei goes with dropping Android completely, then it would mean losing access to Google services. Though the company would never face dearth of apps inside the dragon wall, outside Chinese markets, are heavily depended on Android. That means, Huawei is planning to develop a secondary OS, in order to prevent the services being shut down all on a sudden.
