HTC U11 users in India will start getting Android 8.0 Oreo update from January 30 onwards. Earlier, the users of HTC U11 in the US and Taiwan had already received the Oreo update by the late part of last year. Announcing the same, HTC official Mo Versi added that the company would be introducing Oreo update into the following devices as well – HTC 10, HTC U Ultra and HTC U11 Life.
Along with the Android Oreo update, comes a host of features such as Picture in Picture (PiP) Mode, Notification Dots, Notification Channels, Android Instant Apps and Autofill for passwords.
