Hero MotoCorp has announced that it would be increasing the price of its two wheelers by INR 625. This includes the price of all the completed models, with immediate effect. The main reason, which the company cited was that of rising input costs. That said, the above mentioned price is only the average amount, which Hero MotoCorp charges over various models. The exact amount, will vary according to the models. This is the second price hike, which Hero is issuing, this calendar year. Earlier in January 2018, the company had hiked the price of its two wheelers by an average of INR 400 per model.
Well, earlier TVS Motor Company and Bajaj Auto have all revised the price of their products. It is expected that other leading manufacturers too follow the trend in the coming days.
