Thiruvananthapuram: A differently-abled eight-year-old daughter was suffocated by her mother and thrown into a well. Mini (48) killed her eight-year-old daughter Anushka at her house in Paduvat under Chirayinkeez Chilam.
After suffocating the child and throwing it into the well, Mini reached the police station and reported that her daughter had been killed.
Then the Chirayinkeez police team reached the spot and found the girl dead in the well.
Mini and her daughter Anushka were missing from home since Tuesday. The family then lodged a complaint with the police.
The information was shared along with the pictures of both of them on social media. Meanwhile, Mini came before the police on Thursday with the information that her daughter was killed by pushing her into the well.
The Chirayinkeez police have started an investigation into the incident. Forensic and fingerprint experts have also reached the spot.
