Suresh Kumar is a producer who has produced many films in Malayalam. Now Suresh Kumar’s words about last year’s Malayalam hit film Romancham and Vijay’s film are gaining attention.
Producer Suresh Kumar says that he did not feel anything after watching the hit films ‘Romancham’ and ‘Leo’. The producer said that he did not laugh like the younger generation after seeing the thrill. He did not digest seeing Leo.
Suresh Kumar’s response was given while speaking on the topic of ’80s Malayalam Cinema’ at ‘Smriti Sandhya’, organized as part of the Assembly International Book Festival.
“If I go and watch the thrill, I won’t find it so interesting. You’re laughing. I actually didn’t laugh when I saw that picture. I’m not saying the movie is bad.
I didn’t enjoy it that much. You must be able to enjoy it. It means that your mind set has changed. Suresh Kumar also said that I am an old man.
Tamil cinema has a huge audience here. After watching the movie Leo, I felt nothing. In the climactic fight, a man beats down 200 people. Are there people who are super human like that?
But after seeing the applause, I realized that everyone likes that. I said that none of us can digest it. There is a generational difference between us,” says Suresh Kumar.
Now I am confused to listen to the story. If someone comes to me now to tell me a story, I will tell my daughter that you should listen to it. Suresh Kumar said that I don’t know if my assessment is wrong.
