Actor Hareesh Peradi has taken social media spaces to express his opinion on the controversy surrounding Suresh Gopi’s blessing of a pregnant woman during the election campaign. A social media has jumped into criticize Suresh Gopi for his act, as many have found it quite an indecent way of over expression. However, Haressh Peradi has maintained that there was nothing unusual about the behavior of Suresh Gopi.
Maintaining that Suresh Gopi has blessed the pregnant woman by touching her belly, only with the consent of the woman, Hareesh Peradi questioned the motive of people in criticizing the actor for the act. Adding that all of us have the freedom to act according to the wishes, the actor however, didn’t mind to criticize extreme right wing groups, which had intervened during the ‘Kiss of Love’ days. He also questioned the protest, which took place when women tried to enter Sabarimala last year.
