In a move to woo advertises, who are not comfortable with the existing YouTube videos, Google has announced plans to sell YouTube TV Ads through the ‘Google Preferred’ Network. Google reportedly, will start streaming a host of popular TV channels. The move will woo top advertises, who had found that their ads were featured along with unsafe/controversial video content. Google has already introduced a new AdWord category, ‘light TV viewers’. It is reported that by the fourth quarter of 2018, advertisers would start buying ad inventory. The programme, which will be started off in the US, will soon be expanded worldwide.
In an attempt to appease brands, Google has hired more human reviewers for wielding more control for brands in options, such as placement of the ad on particular content.
