Google has removed its foundational motto – ‘Don’t be Evil’ from its code of conduct. Earlier in 2015, the company had removed ‘Do the right things’ motto from its code of conduct. While the tech world is abuzz with the new decision of Google, the move is generally seen as the company deviating from the foundational aspirations and values.

The accusations against the company such as monopolizing the market and tax avoidance are the ones, which are being quoted by the industry leaders on the occasion. Google’s continued support for US govt. sponsored AI weaponisation program is one of the heated topics, over which a section of the employees decided to quit.
