Google Maps, off late, has managed to upgrade the app in terms of numerous facilities. Earlier we saw the application coming up with ‘Bike Commuter’ mode. Now, Google Maps has added yet another helpful feature for ‘Bus commuters’. Aiming easing out mass transit modes, Google Maps will now give notifications to the bus/train riders about the approaching time of their destination. For using the service, you need to log into the Google Maps on your Android Smartphone and select the destination, followed by the direction of transit or route.
Similar in line with the feature of public transit app in Canada, ‘Go’, this latest feature in Google Map will guide users in notifying the user, as they progress the journey.
